Wrapped up in Spring

Playing along with the Inspired By Challenge this week, with this lovely photo...

I used several dies to make a bouquet of my own!

I created a wrap by die cutting a gift card, then cutting and shaping it a little bit! I made the tulips with Spellbinders “Amazing Paper Grace March 2021 Die of the Month” set, the daisies with a retired Papertrey Ink “Mum” die set, and little wildflowers with The Greetery’s “BotaniCuts Wildflower Mix” dies. The bow was made with The Greetery’s “Put a Bow On It” stamps and dies. The background is made with Papertrey Ink’s “Woodgrain Impression Plate.”

Tea for Tu-lip Throwdown!

This week at the Color Throwdown , the inspiration photo and colors were the cheeriest...blue, yellow, green, and white!

I chose to make yellow tulips using Papertrey Ink’s “Petite Pots” and a background with the “Sunshine Stencil” set...

I used the “Tea Cup” stamp set and “ Tea Cup” die, along with a berry sprig from “Pocketful of Joy,” from the amazing new Pigment Craft Company by Ivana Camdzic. She has had two releases so far, and the awesome products are right up my stamping alley!

She is based in British Columbia, Canada...but (especially) given the current state of things, shipping is quite fast. Prices listed on the website are in Canadian dollars, which is a bit more than the actual cost in US dollars with the exchange rate. I highly recommend checking Pigment Craft Company out! 😊

Peachy Throwdown

For this week’s Color Throwdown the colors are pink, yellow, green, and kraft!

The colors made me think of The Greetery’s “Print Shop: Peachy Keen” Stamp & Stencil...

I stamped and stenciled the background using two shades of tan, trying to go for a toile fabric look! The background was cut out with the “Nordic Frames” dies, also from The Greetery.

Daisy Throwdown

A beautiful inspiration photo at Color Throwdown this week! This week the colors are pink, dark pink, and cream...

I used The Greetery’s “Oopsy Daisy” set for my card, it just makes me happy!

For the background, I stamped The Stamp Market’s “Perfectly Plaid Background” over cardstock that was embossed with the Stampin Up Stampin’ Cut & Emboss folder called “Tasteful Texture.” It kind of looks like fabric! The sentiment was created with The Greetery’s “PreText Sentiments” and “Let’s Have a Word: Spring” die.
