Finally....Falling!

School has been ridiculously busy, but I finally got a chance to create with my new Reverse Confetti stamps and die set...Falling for You!  I am a sucker for any wreath, and loved that I could take out my Copic markers with this one...

I colored the leaves with 3 shades of green, then using a glue pen, added some Stampendous Crystal Snow to parts of each leaf.  I used red Liquid Pearls for the berries.  Also used Reverse Confetti's "Bitty Banners" set for the sentiment.  PTI's Woodgrain Impression plate and some gingham paper as finishing touches.  I am SO excited for all of the holiday stamp sets coming out!  The best time of year to create!

Hello Fall Sketch

I flipped, twisted, and went full of patterns for this week's Freshly Made Sketches sketch by Karren!

I used the adorable new Autumn Scarecrow to welcome fall...

I turned the sketch 180 degrees then flipped it, so my elements would be on the right side. I paper-pieced with denim paper and various other patterns! If you look closely, you can see that I used the old Stampin' Up Linen Background, and some stitched stamps from Close to My Heart behind the scarecrow, instead of using a paper panel.

School starts on Tuesday for us, un-yippee!  So sad to see summer come to an end, but looking forward to fall events like football games, changing leaves, and Pumpkin Spice Lattes at Starbucks :)!
