The stencils allow you to create the background and also to color in the images! I love that the sentiments can be die cut, too. The font is so beautiful!
My second card features such a fun new product suite...Sippable Scenes Stamps, Sippable Scenes Stencils, and Sippable Scenes Dies. I created the background with the first three stencils in the Coast Paradise Stencil set.
The stencils in this set can all be layered on a larger sheet of cardstock, and then you can die cut the images individually using either the can die OR the bottle die included in the set. I chose to make two cans "clinking" together at the beach! I can't think of a better way to celebrate a friend!

I wish I had a beach house like the one in your card! My family would be visiting constantly! The stencil works so well for these cards. Would not have thought to use it as a background for the cans, but it is perfect!
