It's "Easeler" than it looks!

Today's "Try a New Technique" challenge at Splitcoast was to make an easel card!  Lynn Mercurio, our hostess with the mostest, linked us up to an awesome tutorial by Penny Wessenhauer seen here:

Here are 2 views of my card (which by the way, would be very easy for a linear-minded individual.  I, on the other hand, have trouble packing my suitcase!). Even though it took me a little longer, it sure was fun!




I used paper from Cosmo Cricket's Early Bird Collection, and the Small Banner set from Pink Persimmon!

this is SO cute! I want to try it out too, but I am a bit tutorial challenged. maybe I will give it a go later ; )
