Celebrate the Season

I am playing along with the November Sketch for you to Try at Reverse Confetti!  Here is the sketch...

I chose to use Reverse Confetti's Fall for You wreath set, as well as Bitty Banners...

I stamped the wreath in Versamark on denim paper, the heat embossed with white powder. Added lots of die cut elements from the set, and sprinkled them with Crystal Snow glitter.

The vellum piece was embossed with the Sizzix Snowfall folder, and added a few little sparkly snowflakes underneath for the corner edge panel in the sketch.

I cannot get enough of the Fall for You wreath!  It's definitely my favorite to use this season!

Fusion Challenge: Red Christmas

An absolutely stunning inspiration photo at the Fusion Card Challenge Blog this week!  It's called Red Christmas, and makes me want to go out and buy a white pitcher and some babies breath and berries :)!!

I ended up making two cards for the challenge...

This is actually my second card, because my first wasn't doing it for me with the color scheme I chose.  For this one, I went with a warmer look, like the photo...

I used WPlus9 Studio's "Very Merry" set and berries from Fresh Cut Florals.  Used PTI's Picnic Plaid Impression plate, too.  Glitter, red and white Liquid Pearls, and Glossy Accents dotted all over on both cards!

My first card uses the same stamp sets, but I went for more of a bold, chalkboard look (thought there had to be a chalkboard sign in that quaint kitchen someplace)! The woodgrain impression plate is from A Muse Studio.  Some white pencil accents around the sentiment to make it look chalk-y :)!

Back to work tomorrow, but hoping I get to keep playing along with all of these awesome holiday challenges, my favorite time of year to stamp!

PTI November Blog Hop

A beautiful inspiration photo for this month's blog hop at Papertrey Ink,

I decorated a Rustic Wreath die cut for my card...

The sentiment is embossed in gold and is from Love Lives Here.  The plaid at the bottom is stamped with Plaid Builder.  The wreath was embossed with the Vineyard impression plate.
The little acorns, leaves, berries, and pine cones are from the Tinsel & Tags Sprigs stamp set/dies.  The pears are borrowed from a WPlus9 Studio set.  Glittered them up and a twine bow to finish it off!  Thanks so much for stopping by :)!

Joy

Loved the "retro holiday" inspiration photo at the Card Concept!  Such a beautiful wreath and fun color scheme!

I chose Reverse Confetti's "Fall for You" wreath and dies, because I just love it so much!  It's so versatile, you can make it look different every time!  I went for a Clean and Simple card, but really layered up that wreath like in the photo...

I stamped the little pieces in Memento's Gray Flannel ink, then colored them with pink Copics.  I added a bit of glue to each with a pen, then added Crystal Snow glitter.

I used PTI's linen cardstock, and embossed it with a woodgrain impression plate from AMuse Studio.  Then added a "joy" die cut from PTI's silver cardstock.

Needed a bit more blue, so a touch of PTI's aqua mist Chicken Scratch gingham patterned paper and a few blue pearls did the trick!

Hope you are finding time to find a little joy this Thanksgiving weekend.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Happy Thanksgiving!

A little time to play along with the Color Throwdown today, and I found the perfect inspiration for these colors...

This Thanksgiving Blend K-cup box from Starbucks!

I used WPlus9's Freehand Florals, and a sentiment from PTI's First Fruits...

Used the Mix & Mat: Berry Boughs die to frame the sentiment, embossed it in gold, and added some gold pine boughs cut with an Elizabeth Craft Designs die.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Make it Monday: Photo Ornaments

This week at Papertrey Ink, Lexi hosted a fabulous Make it Monday challenge, to make holiday photo ornaments!

While I was looking for one of our old Christmas photo cards, I came across this sweet photo of Eva & Claire catching some snowflakes when they were little.

I used dies from the "Make it Market: Shakers & Sprinkles" kit for the frame and the cut sentiment.  The heart is cut with the "Heart Prints" dies and the small sentiment stamped with the coordinating "Sparkle & Shine" mini stamp set.

The heart is backed with one of the beautiful snowflakes cut with the "Silver White Winters" snowflake die set.  What a great way to use photos!
Thanks so much, Lexi!

Fusion: Grateful

Playing along with the Fusion Challenge because I could not pass on an opportunity to make a wreath card, one of my favorite things to stamp!

I turned the sketch 180 degrees and used the Happy Pretty Panels Confetti Cuts and the Fall for You wreath image from Reverse Confetti.

I stamped a plaid background from Echo Park using A Muse Studio's Toffee ink.  The center of the card is wrapped with wood tape, and then I cut the letters from the same tape.  The "Thanksgiving" is from a WMS stamp set.

I colored the leaves with a mix of Copic markers, then added Stickles, some Liquid Pearls red berries, and a little twine around the sentiment.  So sparkly!

Brown Paper Packages Sketch

A little stamping time this evening, it's been so long!  Tried this week's fun sketch by Karren at Freshly Made Sketches...

I used PTI's Quoted: Favorite Things mini stamp set , and berries from WPlus9's Fresh Cut Florals, a branch die from Memory Box, and a pine bough die from Elizabeth Craft Designs cut in white.

The lighting was not the best since I made it at night!  Embossed that awesome sentiment!  Added some Glossy Accents to the little red heart, and some 4mm clear sequins, and Martha Stewart clear coarse glitter, on and around the branches for some sparkle!  I think I am reserving Tuesday for a stamp-a-thon...school will be done for me, but my girls still have one more day, hee!
