Fall Critters with Waffle Flower Stamps & Dies!

I am SO excited to join Waffle Flower this week for their newest September Challenge…Fall Critters!

Fall here in Western New York brings a chill in the air, so I just had to use the “Knitted Background Stencil” with some texture paste! It seemed perfect for the scarf on the cutest fall critter of all…Big Bear, from the “Blessed Bear” set.

He’s visiting his critter friends on this amazing background called “Fall Dreams.” I sponged color in to highlight all of the fun foliage, and the treasures and fall critters tucked in the woods. The sentiment from “Fall Greetings” is inked in the changing colors of autumn, then cut with the coordinating die.

Now it’s your turn to play along! Upload your Fall Critters card using Waffle Flower products. There are three ways to enter. On Instagram, use the keyword #WFChallenge2109. On Facebook, join the Waffle Flower Garden Group, and upload your project to the challenge album 9/12-9/30. You can also link your blog post at the Waffle Flower blog “Link Party” for this challenge. Enter the challenge by 11:59 PM Arizona time on September 30th for chances to win gift certificates to the Waffle Flower store!

Thank you SO much for visiting…and sending a leaf pile full of gratitude to Sunshine Gustafson and Jeanne Jachna for inviting me to play along this month! ❤️

Stitched in Love with Papertrey Ink

I am thrilled to be a guest designer this month with Papertrey Ink! This month the release is absolutely stunning, filled with gorgeous products for birthdays, happy hellos, and any occasion…and it’s available for purchase now!

Up first is a stamp set with coordinating dies right after my own heart called Stitched in Love.

I heat embossed the floral images with white powder, and blended ink over the top in shades of pink, red, yellow, and orange, with some greens and blues for the leaves. The background is made with a new die that is sure to receive so much love called On the Border: Leaves. It will pair perfectly with floral and nature sets in any season!

Thank you Papertrey Ink for inviting me to feature your amazing products this month. I can’t wait to show you all more! ❤️

Bold & Plaid Throwdown

Playing along with this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge...aqua, pink, and black. I loved this combination!

I used The Greetery’s new “Tartan Plaid Diagonal” stencils for my background and they are a dream come true for this plaid-obsessed girl!

Also used The Greetery’s new “Sentiments Squared” stamps and dies for the “happy” and a birthday sentiment from “Digit Sentiments.” Mixed a bouquet of flowers using “Lovely Blossoms” and “Bigger Blooms.” Such pretty sets, and they go so well together for a bold graphic look. ❤️

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Denim Apron Sketch

Playing along at Freshly Made Sketches this week! Here is the sketch by Narelle...

My flowers (and additions) seemed to grow quite a bit! I used the adorable “Apron Strings” die from Pigment Craft Company...

Also used their stamp sets “Dashing Sentiments,” “Hello Beautiful Blooms,” and “Frame Builder: Hello Beautiful” with the coordinating dies.

The apron was cut from denim patterned paper by Crate Paper that I’ve had forever. At the time, I bought several sheets because I thought it was so cool!

Wrapped up in Spring

Playing along with the Inspired By Challenge this week, with this lovely photo...

I used several dies to make a bouquet of my own!

I created a wrap by die cutting a gift card, then cutting and shaping it a little bit! I made the tulips with Spellbinders “Amazing Paper Grace March 2021 Die of the Month” set, the daisies with a retired Papertrey Ink “Mum” die set, and little wildflowers with The Greetery’s “BotaniCuts Wildflower Mix” dies. The bow was made with The Greetery’s “Put a Bow On It” stamps and dies. The background is made with Papertrey Ink’s “Woodgrain Impression Plate.”

Tea for Tu-lip Throwdown!

This week at the Color Throwdown , the inspiration photo and colors were the cheeriest...blue, yellow, green, and white!

I chose to make yellow tulips using Papertrey Ink’s “Petite Pots” and a background with the “Sunshine Stencil” set...

I used the “Tea Cup” stamp set and “ Tea Cup” die, along with a berry sprig from “Pocketful of Joy,” from the amazing new Pigment Craft Company by Ivana Camdzic. She has had two releases so far, and the awesome products are right up my stamping alley!

She is based in British Columbia, Canada...but (especially) given the current state of things, shipping is quite fast. Prices listed on the website are in Canadian dollars, which is a bit more than the actual cost in US dollars with the exchange rate. I highly recommend checking Pigment Craft Company out! 😊

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Peachy Throwdown

For this week’s Color Throwdown the colors are pink, yellow, green, and kraft!

The colors made me think of The Greetery’s “Print Shop: Peachy Keen” Stamp & Stencil...

I stamped and stenciled the background using two shades of tan, trying to go for a toile fabric look! The background was cut out with the “Nordic Frames” dies, also from The Greetery.

Thanks for stopping by! 🍑

Daisy Throwdown

A beautiful inspiration photo at Color Throwdown this week! This week the colors are pink, dark pink, and cream...

I used The Greetery’s “Oopsy Daisy” set for my card, it just makes me happy!

For the background, I stamped The Stamp Market’s “Perfectly Plaid Background” over cardstock that was embossed with the Stampin Up Stampin’ Cut & Emboss folder called “Tasteful Texture.” It kind of looks like fabric! The sentiment was created with The Greetery’s “PreText Sentiments” and “Let’s Have a Word: Spring” die.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hopping Away

For the Inspired By Challenge! I loved the colors and all of the spring beauty found in this tulip bouquet...

My card hopped away on me a little bit! I kind of added ALL of the sweet spring things from The Greetery...it’s what “hoppens” sometimes! 😂

I used “Bunny Hop Wreath,” “Boxwood Heart,” “Put a Bow On It,” “Square Dance” stencils, “BotaniCuts Carrot,” and “BotaniCuts Wildflower Mix!” So much fun to mix and match The Greetery products because they are all so sweet! Thanks for “hopping” by! 🐰💕

A Little Rusty Sketch

Hello 2021! My first blog post since October 31...so it’s  time to welcome the new year and join in the first Color Throwdown  challenge...rust, brown, and cream!

I decided to try something a little different and make a floral card with these colors!

I used the Stamp Market’s gorgeous “Petal Perfection”  set with a sentiment from “Blossom Party.” The background is made with the Stamp Market’s “Plaid” stencil inked over an Impression Obsession Cover-a-Card background called “Screen.” So much fun! Thank you for stopping by!
