Spring Florals Throwdown

Today I am thrilled to be the Guest Designer at the Color Throwdown Challenge! This week’s colors are gloriously spring and pastel…pale blue, yellow, and lime!

I used beautiful floral products from The Greetery for my card…

The “Seed Catalog Background” is a favorite starter for me! I added some “BotaniCuts: Bluebells” and “BotaniCuts: Wildflower Mix” blossoms around my circular window. I heat embossed a sweet thank you sentiment from “Opposites Attract” in silver for a finishing touch.

The Color Throwdown Challenge is my favorite, and always pushes me to use and mix colors/products in new ways. I hope you can play along this week!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Paisley Throwdown

I love the inspiration photo at the Color Throwdown Challenge this week…

(Not sure what is happening to the photo but you can see the lovely colors of coral, yellow, blue, and navy!)

I searched through my well-loved Stampin’ Up “vintage” wood-mounted backgrounds for some paisley of my own!

I paired it with The Greetery’s “Lovely Blossoms” and “Jumbo Curiosity: Butterfly “ die and stencil. With some sneaky masking, I paired a stamped sentiment from “Lovely Blossoms” with a die cut sentiment from “Lovely Silhouettes.” Loving these bright, happy colors  at this drab time of year! 😊

I Saw…Pink Hollyhocks!

A fun new challenge find for me! I discovered the As You See It Challenge blog and was instantly inspired! Here is the recipe for the newest challenge…

Distressed paper, blossoms, shades of pink, an embossing folder, and pearls!

I used The Greetery’s “BotaniCuts: Hollyhocks” for my card…

I made my background with The Greetery’s “Print Shop: Calico.” I stamped and stenciled in pinks, then added the Stampin Up “Tasteful Textile” embossing folder over the top (also some white ink)! I used a distressed edger tool, too. Added 3 teeny pearls and recipe complete!

What a fun challenge, can’t wait to play along again soon! Thanks so much for stopping by! 💕

Inspired by Lemons

A fun inspiration photo at the Inspired By Card Challenge! This week’s theme is lemons!

I loved the alternating yellow and white boxes with the crisp black lettering…and the pink lemon! I used products from different companies to create my card…

From The Greetery: “Dried Citrus Slices,” “Big Branches: Ruscus,” and “Big Branches: Baby’s Breath (which I cut from black cardstock and then added white gel pen blossoms!). From The Stamp Market: “Citrus Vine,” the “Ready to Bloom Card Cover,” and a sentiment from “A Simple Hello.” The retired background is the “Broad Stripe Background” from Cornish Heritage Farms.” Such a wonderful photo!

Birthday Bouquet with Bow Throwdown

Time for some bright and bold colors this week at the Color Throwdown …pink, aqua, pale yellow, and navy!

I made a big birthday bouquet…

Used The Greetery’s “Print Shop: Floral Frame,” “Print Shop: Fresh Florals,” and “All Kinds of Happy” stamps and dies. The navy is denim patterned paper. I’ve had that paper bow in my “leftover pieces” dish for…years 😂🤦‍♀️! Today seemed like a perfectly happy day to use it!

Spring Crocus Throwdown

Playing along with this week’s challenge at Color Throwdown …pink, cream, yellow, and green!

I used The Greetery’s “Boxwood Heart” and “BotaniCuts: Crocus” dies on my card…

I stamped The Greetery’s “Seed Catalog Background” and added a sentiment from “Just Sentiments: Spring Greetings “ from Papertrey Ink!

Valentine Toaster Throwdown

A cool winter vibe at the Color Throwdown Challenge this week…navy, gray, and white!

I used The Greetery’s new “Hearts at Home” toaster dies and sentiment set for a fun Valentine card!

Made a background with the “Print Shop: Calico” background and stencil set and framed my scene with the “Frosted Frames” dies…so much fun!

PS…sorry about sneaking in the little reddish heart! 🤷‍♀️😂
