25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 22 Inspiration

Day 22 was yesterday, and Tracey hosted Waffle Flower!  I loved Joyce Mehrberg's red stocking over black patterned Christmas light paper!


I used the socks and a sentiment from PTI's Warm & Fuzzy set again. Added some stars cut with Simin Says Stamps' Hearts & Stars die.


I stamped a stitched vine image for my "lights," using a really old but loved set from Close to My Heart, then heat embossed with white powder.  Added some white ink to the tag for a primitive, folk art look.

Love your cute, striped stockings on their black background! Great way to emulate Joyce's patterned paper. Another great addition to the 25 Days of Christmas Tags gallery!
