Homespun Valentine

Today's Featured Stamper at Splitcoast is Artsy_Em aka Emily Leiphart!  I chose this adorable Christmas card to case, seen HERE.

Kept Emily's overall color scheme and layout.  I used a different Unity "postage stamp" to make the background in a pattern like she did.  The heart is from Waltzingmouse Stamps Sewing Box Hugs (but those of you who visit may have figured that out already, since I use that set ALL of the time!)  Added some thin cherry wood paper in the center, and lots of folksy embellishments.  The little "love" sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's original Mixed Messages set.

Emily has such a fun gallery full of unique CAS layouts.  HERE is another one of my faves from her gallery that I want to try out someday...love all of those circles!  Congrats, Emily!

This is a really cute card and I love that you use some of the same stamp sets a lot. It means you are really getting your money's worth! It also gives me lots of ideas how to use that set.
