Patterned Bunnies!

Playing along with the Fusion Card Challenge’s “Cloth Bunnies” this week!

I used my favorite bunnies of all time from The Greetery’s “Bunny Hop” stamp and stencil set!

I stamped some old gingham and ticking stripe background stamps, using the stencil as a mask, to decorate my bunnies. The base is stamped with Impression Obsession’s “Cover A Card: Screen.”

The sentiment is a combination of The Greetery’s “All Kinds of Happy” die and a banner sentiment from “Springtime.”

Macrame & Bunnies Throwdown

 Playing along with a fun and unique set of Color Throwdown this week…tan, yellow, gray, and black!

I decided to add a lot of white in the background for an airy spring card!

I used The Greetery’s “Bunny Hop” stamps, stencils, and die set and a sentiment from “All Kinds of Happy” (stamp set, die, and shadow die, too).

The background was made with elements from The Greetery’s “Macrame” set of die products. So much fun to mix and match!

Fancy Cup Throwdown

Playing along with this week’s Color Throwdown with the colors black, white, and silver (or gold)!

I took out my fancy place setting, even though it’s just a plain old Monday! I used The Greetery’s “ Cozy Cup” stamps and dies and a “Deco Art Frames” die cut…

Added a sentiment with the “AlphaBuds Slim” set with the backer dies, and “warm” from the “Sentiment Starter” die collection. A Buffalo plaid “Cozy Cup” coaster to complete my cozy/fancy farmhouse look (and because my favorite Buffalo Bills won yesterday, woo hoo!).

Woodsy Snowman Sketch

Playing along at Freshly Made Sketches this week with Amy’s super fun design ! 

I used Papertrey Ink’s adorable “Joyful Snowman” stamps and dies for my card…

I also used snowflake pieces cut with Papertrey Ink’s “Border Bling: Snowflakes” and a teeny square die from “Holiday Wagon.”

I purchased these patterned papers in November from an amazing store called “Buffalo Stamps & Stuff” near Buffalo, NY! The owners expertly combined all of the papers from these different lines on a display, and I was smitten…”Wooden Snowflake” from Echo Park’s “Warm & Cozy” collection, “Wintery Two” from Authentique, and a sheet from a different “Warm & Cozy” collection by Carta Bella…such beautiful papers!

Inspired by Loll!

At the Inspired By Challenge (IB200) this week, I chose to use Loll Thompson’s beautiful winner HERE from October 2021 as my inspiration for a new card…

I can never resist teeny house images! On this card, I used Papertrey Ink’s adorable “ From Our Home to Yours” set along with “Just Sentiments: Thinking of You” and the “On the Border: Leaves” die.

If you look closely, I used the berry image from Papertrey Ink’s “Sprigs & Sprays: Holiday” set as my snow by heat embossing it in white. The rooftops are dusted with a bit of snowy glitter, too!

Fall Critters with Waffle Flower Stamps & Dies!

 

I am SO excited to join Waffle Flower this week for their newest September Challenge…Fall Critters!  

Fall here in Western New York brings a chill in the air, so I just had to use the “Knitted Background Stencil” with some texture paste! It seemed perfect for the scarf on the cutest fall critter of all…Big Bear, from the “Blessed Bear” set.

He’s visiting his critter friends on this amazing background called “Fall Dreams.” I sponged color in to highlight all of the fun foliage, and the treasures and fall critters tucked in the woods. The sentiment from “Fall Greetings” is inked in the changing colors of autumn, then cut with the coordinating die.

Stitched in Love with Papertrey Ink

I am thrilled to be a guest designer this month with Papertrey Ink! This month the release is absolutely stunning, filled with gorgeous products for birthdays, happy hellos, and any occasion…and it’s available for purchase now!

Up first is a stamp set with coordinating dies right after my own heart called Stitched in Love.

I heat embossed the floral images with white powder, and blended ink over the top in shades of pink, red, yellow, and orange, with some greens and blues for the leaves. The background is made with a new die that is sure to receive so much love called On the Border: Leaves. It will pair perfectly with floral and nature sets in any season!
