Fall Critters with Waffle Flower Stamps & Dies!

I am SO excited to join Waffle Flower this week for their newest September Challenge…Fall Critters!

Fall here in Western New York brings a chill in the air, so I just had to use the “Knitted Background Stencil” with some texture paste! It seemed perfect for the scarf on the cutest fall critter of all…Big Bear, from the “Blessed Bear” set.

He’s visiting his critter friends on this amazing background called “Fall Dreams.” I sponged color in to highlight all of the fun foliage, and the treasures and fall critters tucked in the woods. The sentiment from “Fall Greetings” is inked in the changing colors of autumn, then cut with the coordinating die.

Now it’s your turn to play along! Upload your Fall Critters card using Waffle Flower products. There are three ways to enter. On Instagram, use the keyword #WFChallenge2109. On Facebook, join the Waffle Flower Garden Group, and upload your project to the challenge album 9/12-9/30. You can also link your blog post at the Waffle Flower blog “Link Party” for this challenge. Enter the challenge by 11:59 PM Arizona time on September 30th for chances to win gift certificates to the Waffle Flower store!

Thank you SO much for visiting…and sending a leaf pile full of gratitude to Sunshine Gustafson and Jeanne Jachna for inviting me to play along this month! ❤️

Inspired by Cool Treats!

Playing along with the Inspired By Challenge this week....Cool Treats!

I went to the ocean in my inspiration to find the coolest girl of all...a mermaid!

I used Waffle Flower’s “ Mermaid Mail,” The Stamp Market’s “Stampgram,” and Papertrey Ink’s
“Sand Swatch” to create my scene. Blended popsicle colors for the background using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in Scattered Straw, Spun Sugar, Festive Berries, and Salty Ocean, with some Perfect Pearls splatters.

Added lots of glitz with Wink of Stella and Sakura Stardust pens, Prisma glitter, and Nuvo Drops. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Coffee Klatch

This week at the Inspired By Challenge the theme is “Cute Critters” with this adorable inspiration photo...

I chose Waffle Flower’s “Coffee & Books” stamps and dies for my card...

Cute Critters galore at this coffee klatch hosted by Big Bear! I colored the images with Zig Clean Color markers and a water brush.

A big wooden desk made with the Woodgrain impression plate from A Muse Studio and Distress Oxide inks. Bits of red gingham added with a vintage backgrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms, and Glossy Accents on Big Bear’s glasses.

Oh how books and coffee (and stamping) are bringing me smiles these days!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Books & Coffee Sketch

Playing along at Freshly Made Sketches with Narelle’s sketch of the week!

I used Waffle Flower’s adorable “Books & Coffee” stamps and dies...

Somebody needs to clean his glasses! Added Glossy Accents but the bubbles got me! 🤣 Added a background of stacked books and gingham using the Gingham Stencil from Newton’s Nook. A little woodgrain desk made from tape, and some Copic coloring, which is always a struggle, yet always still fun somehow! To anyone who visits, wishing you good health and good books to get you through these long days ❤️!

12 Kits of Occasions-Crafty Friends!

I am so pleased to be back creating with the wonderful team at The 12 Kits of Occasions!! This month, the lovely Jeanne Jachna was the hostess, and she created an incredible kit full of supplies for all of the crafty friends in our lives!

Up first is this sweet girl from My Favorite Things “You Color My World,”

I colored her with Karin Markers and made her have a bit of a tie dye shirt! Added some beautiful rainbow patterned paper from the American Crafts “ Vicki Boutin Kaleidoscope Collection” in a Hero Arts “Wood Frame Infinity Die,” and a little heart topped with Glossy Accents. The background cardstock is PTI’s Soft Stone, which really made the rainbow colors pop!

Next up, one of the sweet “Crafty Critters” from Reverse Confetti...

Of course a zebra would choose To make polka-dotted artwork (?!) This patterned paper was my starting point, and I added paintbrushes “dripping” with Glossy Accents “paint” to coordinate with the dots.

I used more Glossy Accents on the zebra’s accessories, and glitzed up his stripes with some Sakura Stardust pen.

Last was a mini card that took on a life of its own...

I used these cute “Little Painters” mice from Waffle Flower and added the paint tube and brush to their tiny little hands, and just look at what they created!

Used splatter images from my stash and decorated this Reverse Confetti tag, as well as the “crafty” die cut sentiment from Concord & 9th, with pale gray stripes. Lots of Nuvo Drops became the “paint!”

Thanks SO much to Jeanne for this amazing kit! To see what all of the 12 Kits of Occasions Designers created, as well as a supply list with all of this month’s items, head to the blog HERE! Thanks so much for stopping by!

I used Waffle Flowers’ sweet new “Special Delivery” stamp set, which I sponged then stamped with Distress Oxide Inks in Mustard Seed, Pine Needles, Peacock Feathers, Fossilized Amber, and Fresh Ink in Navy.

I added a bit of water to blend some mistakes but liked the final result 😁. Added some flowers to my window card which I cut using a Nestabilities and Stitched Rectangle die.

25 Days of Christmas Tags- Day 16

On Day 16 of Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags, there were sweet designs from Waffle Flower! I
was inspired by Carol Mayne's sweet bear tag with the navy plaid background...

I colored Waffle Flower's adorable "Bear Hugs" image with Zig Clear Color and Tombow markers and placed it over a background made with Hero Art's "Star Light Star Bright" background. The sentiment is from Waltzingmouse Stamps.

I cut the whole scene out with a scalloped square die from Nestabilities, then added Stardust Stickles on each and every little star! 😊🎇
