Loved Narelle’s sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
I chose to use The Greetery’s amazing “Macra-Made For You” dies...so intricate and realistic!
I cut a square frame with Nestabilities dies, and embossed it with Stampin Up’s beautiful “Pinewood Plank” 3D Stampin Cut & Emboss folder. Then I inked it in Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in Aged Mahogany, Vintage Photo, and Rusty Hinge. Added the stamped and die cut plants using The Greetery‘s “Macra-Made For You” and “Pot-Pourri” sets. The sentiment on vellum is from “Pretty Postmarks.”
Stamped bricks from “Fresh Air” with Versamark ink, and heat-embossed in white, inking over them with Speckled Egg and Bundled Sage Distress Oxide Inks. Added some Nuvo Drop details to the macrame planter In Duck Egg Blue. The little planter is inked in Memento’s Danube Blue which is perfect for those bright ceramics you see!
Thanks so much for stopping by ❤️!

May 2020 12 Kits of Occasions
This month at the 12 Kits of Occasions Blog, Marcia Hill was our hostess and she sent the most adorable kit entitled “April Showers Bring May Flowers!” She challenged us to make our blogs bloom with life and flowers and COLOR!
First, my eyes went right to this adorable Stampingbella “Bundle Girl with a Snowdrop” and the amazing gingham paper!
I colored her with Zig Clean Color and Tombow markers and added a sentiment from Lawn Fawn’s “Hello Friend” set.
I added lots of Stickles and Wink of Stella Stardust pen details, because she reminded me of a sweet little garden fairy! Oh, and some Glossy Accents to her blue galoshes!
Next up is this gorgeous patterned paper with the beautiful tulip bouquet in a Mason jar! It is from a set called “Mandy’s Flowers” by Simon Says Stamp. Again I colored with Zig and Tombow markers. I added a mini paper bow from Mama Elephant, one of the “Simple Little Tags” from Memory Box and a sentiment from WPlus9 Studio.
Last up is this gorgeous silver embossed floral image that Marcia sent. It is called “First Blush” by Penny Black...
I colored the image with Copic markers then cut it out with this “HBD” birthday die from The Stamp Market. I added a Memory Box Branch die cut and a little birdie from a past kit that I colored with Copics, too.
I added lots of Nuvo Glitter Paste in “Moonstone” on the flowers and the bird, and embossed PTI’s Hawaiian Shores” cardstock with Stampin Up’s “Subtle” 3D embossing folder.
Thank you SO much to Marcia for sharing these gorgeous papers, die cuts, and florals with us this month! Made my heart so happy sitting in my crafting room in the sunshine! Thanks to all for stopping by today! ❤️

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop
It’s time for the Spring/Summer 2020 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! It’s such a fun hop to play along with, and there are prizes from SO many generous sponsors! I made a card featuring The Greetery’s “Cozy Cup” stamp set and coordinating dies, and the “Cozy Cup Coaster” die.
I masked the plaid on the coaster and inked it up in the gorgeous new Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink color “Speckled Egg,” which I quickly received from Simon Says Stamp! Added some blooms from The Greetery’s “Oopsy Daisy” set, and a “farmhouse table” background with Stampin Up’s “Pinewood Plank” 3D Stamp and Cut Embossing Folder.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Signed & Sealed Throwdown
I loved the colors at this week’s Color Throwdown ...red, dark gray, light gray, and white!
The background was made with Stampin Up’s 3D Woodgrain embossing folder and the little notebook paper with a background that is vintage Cornish Heritage Farms 😊❤️. Thanks so much for stopping by!
I am having a hard time crafting without ROSES! Used The Greetery’s BotaniCuts Rose to add a bit of red to my card...
I colored the rose and rosebud with Distress Oxide inks on Bristol Smooth cardstock. Used Signed & Sealed and Signed & Sealed with a Kiss stamps and dies by The Greetery for the envelope, sentiments, and cute wax seal which I embossed in silver. Added leaves and sprigs from the Inside & Out Berry Branch die, too. The patterned paper is The Gingham Farm collection ❤️ which I got at Hobby Lobby.

Merry Ornaments Sketch
A perfect sketch for your Christmas card stash presented by Jacquie at Freshly Made Sketches!
I chose to use The Stamp Market's sweet "Mini Ornaments" along with a sentiment from "Candy Cane Christmas!"
Colored the ornaments and sprigs from The Stamp Market's "Holiday Greenery" dies with Karin markers and a waterbrush. The center panel is stamped with their "Cross Cross Background" on vellum and heat embossed in white. There is red paper behind which took on a rosy hue!
The white outer frame panel is embossed with Stampin' Up's 3D Woodgrain Embossing folder. It.is.AMAZING!! Some Glossy Accents, Sakura Stardust pen details, and Nuvo Drop polka dots to round this one out.
I could just use my Christmas stamps all year long and be totally happy! Thanks for stopping by!

Color Throwdown Guest Star Stamper
I am thrilled to be this week's Guest Star Stamper at the Color Throwdown! The inspiration piece is so beautiful, and features lovely pastels...green, yellow, pink, and lavender!
I chose The Stamp Market's "Petite Painted Posies" stamps and dies, and Ink to Paper's "Tag Creations: Joyful Jar" die for my card...
Stamped "Barnwood" from Stampin' Up and cut a frame from the center. Stamped a smaller floral cluster from "Petite Painted Posies" and heat embossed with white powder.
Added a sentiment from Ink to Paper's "Tag Creations: Lemon" stamp set to the inside of the jar, and made it into a shaker. Cut the outside of the frame with The Greetery's "Crimped Frame" die.
Lately, a card isn't complete unless I add a smattering of Nuvo Drops! This time I added some white ones 😊.
Thanks SO much to the lovely ladies at The Color Throwdown for having me guest with them. And for their 555 (!) blog posts bursting with colorful inspiration! 💕

25 Days of Christmas Tags: Bonus Day 26 Inspiration
Tracey hosted A Jillian Vance Design on her bonus Day 26, and I was inspired by the hostess herself...Tracey McNeely! Loved her beautiful cascading poinsettia tag with its lighter shades of color!
This tag was all about older "vintage" stamps. For the poinsettia, I layered four flowers stamped with an old Stampin' Up set (Something like Sew Seasonal?) and the background has a layer of Gingham Backgrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms, and flourishes from Close to My Heart.
The poinsettia petals also have SU's Linen Background stamped on them in a light ink. The sentiment is from Waltzingmouse Stamps' Alpine Christmas.
I curled the petals under with a paintbrush handle, so there are two square dimensionals under there!
Such a BIG thank you to Tracey McNeely for putting this fun stamping event together each year! Also many thanks to all the generous sponsors, to the fabulous designers for all of their beautiful, inspiring samples, and to everyone who stopped by to share a sweet comment.
Now only 11 plus months of sleeps until next time 😉!

Fall Butterfly Throwdown
This week's colors at the Color Throwdown were tricky (the green was throwing me!), but had so much fun playing around!
I chose to use PTI's "Butterfly Blooms" and "Leaf Prints" sets to celebrate the change to fall.
The sentiment is from the Waltzingmouse set "Peace and Plenty." I used my Zig markers to watercolor the butterfly, then added Wink of Stella glitter pen and lots of Nuvo drops. Stamped the leaves in the colors of the week, then used Stampin Up's "Linen Background" over the top. Some sparkly sequins for a little glimmer of summer!

Rainbow Butterfly
A sweet, simple sketch from Jen Brum this week at Freshly Made Sketches, and it's just full of possibilities!
I just love it, here it is...
I chose a favorite stamp to use with this fun sketch, the butterfly from Waltzingmouse Stamps "Nordic Spring" by Claire Brennan.
I stamped the butterfly in Versamark on watercolor paper, then heat embossed it with white powder. Added some rainbow colors with some watercolors, and a bit of Wink of Stella glitter over the top.
The plaid stripe and stitched image are also from some WMS sets. I stamped the big plaid stripe with my Misti so I could stamp it multiple times with different shades of aqua ink. The sentiment is from WMS "Fine Feathers" set, also designed by Claire Brennan, which is now available at Gina K Designs.
The background is a stamp classic, Stampin Up's "Linen" wood mounted stamp! Another of my favorites of all time! The Nordic butterfly was stamped underneath in white ink, and heat embossed again. I wanted my cut out butterfly to look like it was taking flight in all of its colorful glory!

Krafty Scarecrow
Ooo I love these Color Throwdown colors for fall! Soft, sweet, and oh so fun!
I have not used my adorable Autumn Scarecrow from PTI enough, and thought she would be perfect with this week's challenge colors...
I used the brand new Wonderland Scenes Stencil Collection from PTI for the background, blended with Memento's Toffee Crunch ink.
I glittered up the trees with my glue pen and more Stampendous Crystal Snow glitter. The pumpkins are stamped onto the background, then paper-pieced with patterns stamped with Stampin' Up, Cornish Heritage Farms, and Impression Obsession backgrounds.
I say that my scarecrow is a girl because who else would wear a white barn coat on the job? :) I stamped an old Stampin' Up plaid background with Versamark onto white paper, then heat embossed with detail white powder. That coat makes me happy :)!

Hello Fall Sketch
I flipped, twisted, and went full of patterns for this week's Freshly Made Sketches sketch by Karren!
I used the adorable new Autumn Scarecrow to welcome fall...
I turned the sketch 180 degrees then flipped it, so my elements would be on the right side. I paper-pieced with denim paper and various other patterns! If you look closely, you can see that I used the old Stampin' Up Linen Background, and some stitched stamps from Close to My Heart behind the scarecrow, instead of using a paper panel.
School starts on Tuesday for us, un-yippee! So sad to see summer come to an end, but looking forward to fall events like football games, changing leaves, and Pumpkin Spice Lattes at Starbucks :)!

Berries Sketch
A sweet and simple sketch by Linda this week at Freshly Made Sketches. I couldn't wait to use some of my new PTI anniversary release products, and chose Beautiful Berries for this sketch...
Here is my card:
I stamped the berries in AMuse Studio Sky, Latte, and Wheat inks, then added the details and sentiment with Fresh Ink in Navy. The sentiment is from PTI's County Fair Make it Market kit.
I created a mask and stamped the old Stampin Up "Aida Cloth" background for the center.
The whole card was run through my Cuttlebug with PTI's Woodgrain impression plate, and I added some Glossy Accents on some of the berries. It's so much fun to experiment with different colored berries with this set!

Fusion Card Challenge's 3rd Anniversary!
I was delighted to be asked by my talented stamping friend Michelle Leone to join in Fusion Card Challenge's 3rd Anniversary celebration! Just look at this inspiration photo and sketch, so gorgeous!
I chose this sweet Stampin' Up mug from "Cup of Cheer" for my card...
I was inspired by the gorgeous photo and some elements of the sketch. I included a Nordic print stripe from Claire Brennan's Nordic Winter set (that I believe is now for sale at GinaK Designs), a circle stencil from Heidi Swapp with texture paste for the snow, and little leaves and berries from WPlus9's "Be Merry" set. I cut a tree branch from grey woodgrain paper using a Memory Box die, and added some pine branch die cuts colored with Copics and glittered up with Crystal Snow.
I can't wait to see what the DT members came up with, and to watch the gallery fill up with gorgeous winter creations! Thanks again to sweet Michelle, and a big congratulations to the Fusion team for creating a challenge blog that ALWAYS inspires!

Icebreaker Pig
Secret Santa-ing continues at work, and my giftee loves pigs...and Icebreaker candies. So I combined the two...
The tag is made with some oldie but goodie stamps from A Muse (pig), Saltbox Studio (fence), tree (Stampin' Up), and Mixed Messges (PTI).
The face was made with stitched circle dies from Simon Says stamp, black twine, and some gems/acrylic dots. The feet are pink ribbon with bits of black ribbon glued on top.
I red line taped 3 Icebreaker containers together for the body!

That's all folks, ;) (rolled rose Die-Namic, hee)!
