Waltzingmouse Stamps November Release Day Blog Waltz!

The big day is here, new release day at Waltzingmouse Stamps!  You should be arriving here from Clare Buswell's blog, but you can always go back to Claire Brennan's blog if you get lost.

The EIGHT new stamps sets that are available for purchase are:  Yonder Star, Compliments of the Season 2, Sheriff, Half Pint Heroes Additions...and 3 awesome full-size acrylic backgrounds...Cabin Plaid, Yonder Star Background, and Vintage Christmas Background!

What's that?  One is missing from the list?  That's because we are featuring it today!  An absolutely delightful and SWEET set called Candy Wagon!!

I made a little card and treat bag ensemble.  When I worked at a preschool, I used to LOVE Secret Santa time of year!  My friends had me figured out, though.  I had just started stamping then and always created my own little treat tags and cards...so I got figured out pretty quickly :).  Did I mention that this is my favorite Christmas color combination in the whole world?  Red, kraft, and cream!

I found these super sweet mini kraft bags with tag inserts at Hobby Lobby and hoarded them until just the right time...and Candy Wagon debut day was IT!  I heat embossed a sentiment from the set with white powder and created a bag full of candy using images from the previously-released set, Candy Jar-Christmas Fillers!  The warm brown plaid was stamped with the new Cabin Plaid background.  This card has a little secret...

Going UP!

I stamped the little tag with more sentiments from Candy Wagon.  The little lasso image from the Opera Tags stamp set (and coordinating Nestabilities by Claire) worked perfectly with this Western theme!  This little card is the perfect size to clip a gift card to the back.

I embossed another little kraft bag and filled it with these vintage candies that I found in the bulk section of Wegmans.  Too bad Halloween was a few days ago...I only allowed myself about 1/8 of a pound of these...enough to fill my mini bag :)!  I stamped another sentiment from the set (there are SO many cute ones!!) and also the mini candies from Candy Jar Christmas.  I closed the bag with a bit of linen washi tape and a button!

Don't forget that Claire is having a contest!  Leave a comment on each DT members' blog to increase your chances to win.  We will each randomly draw a blog commenter's name and submit it to Lynn.  She will then put them all in a hat and draw the winner of a WMS stamp set of choice!  You have until November 5th at 6:59 AM EST to leave your comments.  The winner will be announced November 6th on Claire's blog.

Almost forgot some MORE awesome news!  Claire is running a shipping from the USA trial!  Typically sets are shipped from her home in Northern Ireland, but she is starting to ship from the USA while supplies last.  See more about it on her blog HERE...

Thanks so much for stopping by all week!
