Shabby Strawberry Sketch

Teresa Kline has created another lovely sketch for us this week at the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge Blog!

I thought it would be a lovely one to use with the new 3x4 set Big Berries-Strawberry that is available for pre-order at the store.  It will be ready to ship mid-July!  Since it wasn't quite ready to preview during the release, the DT will be sharing samples with it this month.

I LOVE how big and juicy it is...about 3 inches high when stamped!  Thought it would look deliciously shabby with these papers from My Mind's Eye "Vanity Fair" Collection.  It's so perfect with the Chicken Wire background stamp, TOO!

I stamped the image with Versamark ink on a pink piece of patterned paper from the collection and heat-embossed it.  Then I added white opal Liquid Pearls to make the dots stand out.  Added a be-buttoned flower blossom to make it extra sweet :)

Upload your sweet creations HERE by next Friday, July 13th.  Be sure to include at least 1 Waltzingmouse Stamps image on your project to be eligible to be the randomly-selected participant who will a WMS set of choice!

Supplies:
Stamps:  Big Berries-Strawberry, Chicken Wire, both Waltzingmouse Stamps
Paper:  My Mind's Eye "Vanity Fair", PTI's Rustic White and Sweet Blush cardstock
Ink:  Versamark, VersaColor Bamboo, A Muse Studio Bermuda, Tim Holtz Antique Linen, Fresh Ink in Chocolate
Other:  Liquid Pearls in "White Opal", PTI Vintage Cream grosgrain ribbon, Spellbinders Classic Ovals Small Nestabilities, button and paper flower from A Muse Studio, twine

Oh Kelly, this is simply scrumptious! I was eager to get this set when I first lay eyes on it, but now you've got me counting sleeps. Wonderful job with the strawberry. Embossing and pearlizing the fruits was a great idea. Such yummy texture. Glorious job once again. Hugs.

Liquid pearls?! So tiny and detailed. Is there a trick, because it would not look like that in this house! Your card is so fun and sweet and summery and pretty!
