Peace on Earth Angel Sketch

Claire herself is back with sketches for the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge Blog!  She started off again with one of her beautiful circular sketches.  I had never made one until I tried one of her past sketches.  They really are so much fun!

Here is my card:

Earth Angel is back!  She is perfect with this new sentiment from Say It Loud-Winter Holiday!  More papers from October Afternoon's Modern Homemaker collection.  I also couldn't resist using the new holly dies from Papertrey Ink, which I embossed with that "weathered stripe" Cuttlebug Embossing folder (not sure of the real name?)  I kept the sparkle subtle on this one, and colored in many portions with a Stardust glitter pen from Sakura.

Round up your supplies (hee!) and join in the fun.  Upload your creation HERE by next Friday, September 30th.  Be sure to include at least one Waltzingmouse Stamps image on your creation so you will be eligible to be the randomly-selected player who wins a WMS stamp set of choice!

Supplies:
Stamps:  Earth Angel and Say It Loud-Winter Holiday, Waltzingmouse Stamps
Ink:  Memento Rich Cocoa and Ladybug Red, Tim Holtz Distress inks in Antique Linen and Tea Dye, Copic Markers
Paper:  October Afternoon Modern Homemaker Collection, Vintage Cream cardstock, Papertrey Ink
Other:  holly dies from Papertrey Ink, Sakura Stardust glitter pen, twine, red rick rack, Cuttlebug striped embossing folder, A Muse Studio cranberry pearls, paper piercer

I'm SO surprised you used the Earth Angel today Kelly! (LOL - not!) love her paper pieced dress and pretty flowers - wonderful homespun colors on this fun die cut holly!

Another knockout Kelly. I love the patterned papers you chose for the Earth Angel, and those embossed holly leaves really are a great addition to the sentiment banner. I love the piercing around the edges of the sentiment strip too. My old eyes can't tell if they are stitching, but I love the effect either way!

Your little Earth Angel is so precious and looks fantastic on this Christmas card. I never think about her for Christmas, but after seeing your project, I think I should. She works wonderfully...especially with that Say it Loud Winter/Holiday text. Fabulous job as always, Kelly.
