It's time for another Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Waltz! The theme this month is Easter!
We have to play a little game first...it's called, "Can you spot the Easter Imposter?"...
I don't have my WMS Easter images from Spring Baskets (coming soon!), so I had to improvise with the Bountiful Baskets Additions set! I found this pink and yellow, glittery, floral paper from DCWV that I received as a prize from Anna Wight, and it inspired me to turn the poinsettia into a spring flower! The poinsettia is stamped on pink gingham paper from A Muse Studio, and then paper-pieced in the center. Added some glittered up flowers in the background using PTI's smallest scalloped button die, and also added a mini tag die and sentiment from PTI.
I can't wait to see all of the lovely spring and Easter creations, we've been waiting for this season for what seems like forever!
Thanks for visiting today!

What a wonderful idea to use the 'other' flower as an impostor! I don't have any Easter WMS, and none coming in the mail! We make do with what we have...right? Your card is precious! AND that floral paper is sweet!!!
Super sweet!! Love your flower filled basket and that beautiful eyelet trim!! Beautiful card!
This is an adorable Easter card Kelly. For a minute I thought you had stamped that gingham backgroud and wondered how you got it to come out to flawless. Haven't been able to do that with my gingham stamp set yet, so was glad to see it was patterned paper! The basket is perfect and so great you could improvise the flowers.
How bright and cheery in the pinks Kelly! Love the panels, pretty lace and basket of cute flowers!
So sweet and pretty and colorful and all those wonderful things!

A really pretty card, and yes, I realized that the flower was the poinsettia, but I thought it was a really clever idea!! I love seeing how people use things in a different way than they were designed for: great job!!!
The poinsettia looks just like a lily! Love the eyelette trim. Super springy and cute!!
Kelly, this is gorgeous and so beautifully detailed! You had me at GINGHAM! I see you are also teasing me with the tiny tag...still sold out...boohoo! Beautiful card!
