25 Days of Christmas. Tags- Day 19

Day 19 at Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags brought adorable, whimsical designs from Paper Smooches! Who could resist that Santa tag by Teri Anderson?!

I used a sweet Santa from My Favorite Things and the Gingham Backgrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms. The sentiment is from Waltzingmouse Stamps, and the impressed hills are made with a die from The Greetery.

I colored the Santa with Zig Clear Color Markers and a wet paintbrush, then a lot of clear Wink of Stella pen. Added dots with a white gel pen for highlights, then added white Nuvo Drops to his hat and beard. So fun!

2 Days of Christmas Tags- Day 17

Day 17 at Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags was all about beautiful designs from
Pretty Pink Posh!  I loved Eloise Blue's lovely wreath tag with the fun blue sentiment banner!

I used Reverse Confetti's "Fall for You" and "Bitty Banners."  Colored the images with Zig Clear Color markers and a wet paintbrush. Added Wink of Stella pen on all of the leaves, and Nuvo Drops for detail. These wreath shaped tags are so fun!

25 Days of Christmas Tags- Day 12

On Day 12, Tracey took us on an exploration with Stamplorations! Being a lover of all things gingham, my eye went straight to Kim Heggins adorable gingham-topped reindeer tag!

I used the deer from "Folk Art Christmas Additions"and a sentiment from"Vintage Christmas," both from Waltzingmouse Stamps, and the "Gingham Backgrounder" from Cornish Heritage Farms.

I stamped the deer in VersaFine black ink then colored the folk pattern using Nuvo Drops in Autumn Red, Bottle Green, and Simply White. Added a little piece of wire with two jingle bells, and this tag is ready to go!

25 Days of Christmas Tags- Day 10

For Day 10 of Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags, her guest was Simon Says Stamp! I was inspired by Lin Brandyberry's gorgeous die cut wreath with big bow!

I cut lots of the small leaves using The Stamp Market's "Holiday Greenery" die set, then colored with Copic markers. Placed them on a circle frame that I cut with Nestabilities. Added a big bow cut from October Afternoon paper with the L'il Inkers bow die.

I splattered some watered down white paint then added Crystal Snow glitter by Stampendous for a snowy look.

25 Days of Christmas Tags- Day 13

Day 13 at Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags brought inspiration from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps. I loved Larissa Heskett's sweet angel card in blue!

I heat embossed the angel from Papertrey Ink's "Love Lives Here: Holiday" using white embossing powder, then sponged over her dress and wings with Tim Holtz's "Peacock Feathers" Distress Oxide Ink. The sentiment is also from this set.

I colored her face with Zig Clear Color Markers. For the background, I sponged Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in Tumbled Glass and Broken China, then added splatters of Perfect Pearls mixed with water. Used Tim Holtz's "Hocus Pocus" star stencil to add glittery stars. So soft and serene in Larissa's color scheme!

25 Days of Christmas Tags- Day 14

On Day 14 there was lots of sweetness at Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags with Paper Sweeties. I was inspired by the cute mug tag by Debbie Marcinkiewicz...

I used WPlus9 Studio's "Cookies & Cocoa." I stamped my mug then speckled it with white acrylic paint to mimic Stoneware. Love the little three dimensional cookies included in the set!  Dusted them with sugary glitter and used patterned paper from October Afternoon for the background. Thanks for stopping by!

25 Days of Christmas Tags- Day 3

Taking it back to Day 3 of Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags with Newton's Nook Designs! I was inspired by Jennifer Jackson's fun deer card with the stenciled buffalo plaid background...

I used Newton's Nook Designs Buffalo Plaid Stencil for my background, too, but added a whimsical deer and his skunk pal from Hello Bluebird's "Cocoa Party" set. My deer must be a rare "piebald" cocoa-drinking deer! After starting to color with my Zig Clear Color Markers, I realized that I did not stamp my images on Bristol Smooth cardstock, so blending with water was challenging!
