25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 22 Inspiration

Day 22 was yesterday, and Tracey hosted Waffle Flower!  I loved Joyce Mehrberg's red stocking over black patterned Christmas light paper!

I used the socks and a sentiment from PTI's Warm & Fuzzy set again. Added some stars cut with Simin Says Stamps' Hearts & Stars die.

I stamped a stitched vine image for my "lights," using a really old but loved set from Close to My Heart, then heat embossed with white powder.  Added some white ink to the tag for a primitive, folk art look.

25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 16 Inspiration

On Day 16 of Tracey's tag extravaganza, her guest was Ellen Hutson! I chose another sample by Ardyth Percy-Robb.  I was inspired by her softly colored blue patterned mittens!

I stamped and die cut mittens from PTI's Warm & Fuzzy set, and heat embossed them in white on Ocean Tides cardstock.

I stamped Waltzingmouse Stamps' Nordic Winter for the background, also heat embossed in white, and sponged with Distress Inks in Wilted Violet, Iced Spruce, Stormy Sky, and Bundled Sage. Added some twine and a round safety pin. The sentiment is on vellum, also from Warm & Fuzzy.

25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 13 Inspiration

Tracey's Day 13 inspiration came from Technique Tuesday! I loved Jill Dewey Hawkins' sweet Christmas light tag that she stamped and colored on dictionary patterned paper.

I chose a patterned paper from two collections from an old favorite October Afternoon, and used a recipe for "Frozen Creams" for my background...

This may be my favorite tag so far. The snowman was cut with a Sizzix Bigz die that was for Basic Grey. The garland was left over from another tag. It's made from pieces cut with PTI's Rustic Wreath die and the Hearts & Stars die from Simon Says Stamp. The holly die is from PTI. Stamped Merry Christmas from a Sizzix stamp set and colored over it with Copics.

The best part? When I went to color his nose, I noticed the perfectly die cut word "frozen" on it!  😮

25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 4 Inspiration

For Tracey's Day 4 of 25 Days of Christmas Tags, she featured Reverse Confetti! I was inspired by Kathy Schweinfurth's pretty red, blue, and pink wreath tag with its bold black and white sentiment.

I used a favorite set of mine, Reverse Confetti's Fall for You stamps and dies, as well as Whole Lotta Happy.

 I stamped the wreath with Memento Nautical Blue ink and colored it with Copics. Added some mini berries from the set, die cut then dotted with red and pink Nuvo Drops. The sentiment is from Whole Lotta Happy and it's heat embossed with white powder.

The bottom is a piece of kraft cardstock that I stenciled with MFT's Snowfall Stencil and texture paste. 

25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 20 Inspiration

Today is Day 21 of Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags, and she is featuring Lawn Fawn products! I chose Francesca Vignoli's adorable otter tag...I loved the buffalo plaid, snowflake, and colors.

I used Lawn Fawn's Love You a Latte set and Stitched Hillside Border dies.

The plaid is stamped with an old 6x6 background from Cornish Heritage Farms. Stamped the coffee cups and colored with Copics. Added mini die cut hearts cut with the Hearts & Stars die from Simon Says Stamp, shined up with Glossy Accents.

Heat embossed the sentiment with white powder and added a Lil Inkers snowflake. The Stitched Circle tag is from PTI.  (PS...I really want that otter set now, SO cute)!!

25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 11 Inspiration

Tracey had Winnie Walter as a sponsor for Day 11 of her 25 Days of Christmas Tags.  I chose the lovely floral tag from Shay. I was inspired by the dark brown woodgrain, colors, and the flowers.

I used WPlus 9 Studio's Be Merry & Be Merry Florals stamps and dies for my tag, with some embossing on the sentiment and a few Nuvo Drops and sparkly sequins!

             Shay's colors are fresh and fun for Christmas!

25 Days of Christmas Tags: Day 3 Inspiration

More tags inspired by Day 3 of Tracey's "25 Days of Christmas Tags." The sponsor was Concord and 9th and I chose to use their Sophisticated Script set to make a "Cheers" tag like Emily Midgett. I loved her gingham/plaid background, neutral colors, and script sentiment.

I cut the little houses using the Neat & Tangled Winter Village die and the trees from one of the dies in  PTI's Tinsel and Tags kit. They are actually cut from some wood tape! Found some adorable woodgrain sequins I've saved forever, too.

The gingham is an old Cornish Heritage Farms Backgrounder and the mini sentiment is from Waltzingmouse Stamps. Had to add a clip and twine like, Emily, too 😊!
