Here is my card:
I used two new sets, Candy Jar Christmas-Fillers & a sentiment from Candy Jar Christmas. After seeing this card by Jennifer Holmes during release week, I knew that my candy cane image was destined to be coated with glitter, too! I could not stop thinking how pretty that card was, and kept going back to look at it!
Sparkly! I used Copic markers to color it, and then covered it with Martha Stewart coarse clear glitter. Distressed up some Divine Twine and added a silver bell. The background paper is from the 5& Dime Collection by October Afternoon.
I can't wait to see what you make with this sketch! Upload your creation HERE by next Friday, October 28th. Be sure to include at least 1 Waltzingmouse Stamps image on your card to be eligible to be the randomly-selected participant who will win a WMS stamp set of choice!
Supplies:
Stamps: Candy Jar Christmas & Candy Jar Christmas Fillers, both Waltzingmouse Stamps
Paper: PTI Vintage Cream cardstock, October Afternoon's 5& Dime patterned papers
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Tim Holtz Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress inks, Antique Linen Distress Stain, Copic Markers
Other: lace, Divine Twine, Martha Stewart coarse clear glitter, mini jingle bell, dimensionals

ReplyDeleteLove love love your sketch and card. I am definitely going to give this sweet sketch a whirl. Just hope it's before the collection closes. Can I say the glittery candy canes and the lace rimmed jar are so sweet. What an inspiration you and your card are. Marvelous!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! I love the jar and candy canes - and the sparkle on them is just wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI love your sketch and your take on it Kelly. Those sparkly, glittery candy canes are gorgeous. I love that little piece of lace added to the jar, it really makes it look like something I would have seen at my grandma's house during the holidays. (I ended up getting those sets too, so can't wait to receive them).
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness Kelly, this is adorable...i cannot wait to get my sets like this...hope you had a super day!
