I turned the sketch 180 degrees then flipped it, so my elements would be on the right side. I paper-pieced with denim paper and various other patterns! If you look closely, you can see that I used the old Stampin' Up Linen Background, and some stitched stamps from Close to My Heart behind the scarecrow, instead of using a paper panel.
School starts on Tuesday for us, un-yippee! So sad to see summer come to an end, but looking forward to fall events like football games, changing leaves, and Pumpkin Spice Lattes at Starbucks :)!
I so love fall images and colors. The pop of blue in his coat is perfect and I love the textured look - especially with the plaid pants and striped hat! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
