Up first is a little set of projects inspired by this nautical book bag that I saw when walking through a Barnes & Noble book store the other day...
I found this adorable tutorial for making totes from Amanda Coleman seen HERE and made some nautical ones of my own using some 12x12 papers (Bo Bunny, The Paper Loft, Recollections) and images from Ocean Bound.
First up is one that would be such a fun way to give a gift card for an "old salty" guy in your life :)
The little tag is made with images from the set. And as you can see, I got out my sewing machine for these projects! Good thing it already had red thread in it, because that was just what I wanted. Not sure I would have been able to re-thread it without studying the manual for a few hours!
This one is my version of the Barnes and Noble tote!
I just LOVE those seahorses! This one would be sweet for a baby shower gift card:)
Up next are 2 cards that are both rather CAS for me, but I have to say...with these sets, the cards practically make themselves. Some more images from Ocean Bound for a background. The sentiment was heat embossed with white powder on vellum, and then placed over woodgrain paper.
And a lovely sentiment from Safe Harbor Sentiments, possibly one of the coolest sentiment sets ever created for encouragement cards.
I paired it with some textured paper from DCWV and more images from Ocean Bound (and I still have more to use from that set)!
Isn't this SUCH an exciting release already?! Come back to see 3 more sets showcased tomorrow!
