Long time no see! I have had such a busy start of the summer, much busier than I thought I would be with work and being away on the weekends. But finally got a chance to stamp today with the sketch of the week from Freshly Made Sketches. This lovely one is from Linda Suarez!
I used the sweet new You're a Doll set (and a sentiment from You're a Doll-Additions). Both are now available at Waltzingmouse Stamps...
Loved this paper from Pebbles "Walnut Grove" collection. Thought it had a sweet folk art feel and stamped my doll to match it. Paired it with some doily and woodgrain paper from Crate Paper's "Story Teller" collection.
I may be back later as I still have to meet the Challenge Chicks this month! Never thought I would be late with a Christmas card in July...but that's our theme this month! :)
Supplies:
Stamps: You're a Doll and You're a Doll Additions, Waltzingmouse Stamps
Paper: Pebbles "Walnut Grove", Crate Paper "Story Teller", PTI Rustic White and Vintage Cream
Ink: A Muse Studio Mermaid & Cherry, Hero Arts Butter Bar, Stampin Up Real Red, Memento Espresso Truffle, Papertrey Ink Simply Chartreuse
Other: crocheted lace, gems
Beautiful! I love the doll and it looks fabulous with the patterned paper and lace and my sketch! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet and beautiful card. Great job pairing the stamping with patterned paper. And, I spy some lace--I think I know where that came from.
