Waltzingmouse Stamps August Release Previews, Day 1

I am SO excited to help debut Claire's new products this month at Waltzingmouse Stamps!  I know that I always say this, but she has really really outdone herself this time!  She will be releasing 9 new stamp sets this month and some other special things!  Release day is set for this Friday August 24th, but stay tuned to her blog HERE for further information.

Today's sets are must-haves for anybody with a love for vintage things...Vintage Seed Packet, Vintage Garden Appleblossom Seeds, Vintage Garden Flowers, and Vintage Garden Produce!

Up first is a little muslin bag made with images from the Vintage Seed Packet and also Vintage Garden Appleblossom Seeds, which is a single image.

I stamped the Chicken Wire background onto the bag with Memento Espresso Truffle Ink.  Then I wrapped the bag with this wonderful linen washi tape (so easy, no sew :)) and added some buttons.

Aren't the images so GORGEOUS?!  I found that you can fancy them up with Copics or just stamp them in pretty colors...it doesn't matter!  They are stunning any way that you choose.  For this image, I stamped in Memento Olive Grove ink first, then added some color with Copics.  I cut it out with the Rectangles Small Nestabilities.  Note:  If you are ordering this set, I highly recommend getting some Antique Linen Distress ink.  You will NOT be able to keep your hands off of it, hee!

Don't forget the little taggie at the top!  Claire has the Vintage Seed Packet set jam-packed with images.  I used the set for all 3 of my projects today, and still haven't used them all yet!

Up next are some more images from Vintage Seed Packet.  There is a slight chill in the air in the evenings lately, and it makes me want to take out some of those warm fall colors and patterns.

I went a little shabby with this one...I just love that pumpkin image!  Also used some of the new twine that Claire has in the shop.
Another sidebar:  Claire used a teeny tiny dew drop on her blog party card last weekend.  I think she will single-handedly make them all the rage again!  I was sitting at my computer thinking "I HAVE THOSE!", giggle... and decided to add a few to my project!  The pretty papers are from My Mind's Eye and Simple Stories.

When I first got these sets, I sat down and stamped them in all different colors to experiment with my Copics.   When I used Memento Paris Dusk ink on these strawberries from Vintage Garden Produce, I immediately thought of toile and pretty old-fashioned prints!  So I decided to try my hand at a botanical background...

That sentiment is such a cheerful one for a get well card, I sooo love it!  It is included in the Vintage Seed Packet set.  I stamped a pretty vine from Ovals-Classic Frames around it and kept the overall card clean and simple.  (PS...Oh how I tried to keep away from a red, white, and blue color scheme...but this one snuck up on me-the card so NEEDED that red gingham ribbon :)

See?  I warned you that Claire has knocked this release out of the park...and there is so much more in store for you this week!  Don't forget to stop by these DT members' blogs today for more vintage garden loveliness!
