Stamped an oval with the sentiment and leaves from Harvest Berries. Added a butterfly from the Love Lives Here die collection made with a coaster...
I die cut 2 butterflies from the coaster and then spritzed each with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. While they were wet, I peeled them into layers on the edges, leaving the center intact. Then I stacked the two on top of each other and adhered them together! Easy peasy fun with coasters :)!
Supplies:
Stamps: Harvest Berries, PTI
Paper: PTI Kraft, White, Scarlet Jewel and also an older SEI Collection of patterned paper (maybe Dill Blossom?)
Ink: Fresh Ink in Strawberry, PTI Scarlet Jewel, Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress ink, Memento Tuxedo Black, VersaColor Umber, and VersaMagic Wheat
Other: PTI coaster, Love Lives Here butterfly die, Spellbinders oval die, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Sakura Stardust glitter pen, A Muse Studio ribbon, twine
Great butterfly! I love how you stamped the leaves image under the sentiment. Good luck Kelly!!
ReplyDeletelove the way you did your butterfly - i did both challenges too but i embossed the coaster and then cut out the butterfly.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for the butterfly made from the coaster. It's scrumptious! I just ordered coasters from PTI and wondered what I was going to do with them. Great site; glad to find you!
ReplyDeleteLove this! The sentiment coaster, if you will, is just glorious! I love the gradient stamping and how the actual sentiment is so wonderfully crisp and contrasty. Gosh, it works well. I have a few packs of coasters yet to see the business side of a die. Must try this. Killer card Miss Kelly.
ReplyDeletelove that fluttery butterfly!! pretty card, Kelly!!
ReplyDeleteLove the way you've filled the oval with sentiments and branches! Great colors too!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the layers on the butterfly - how you peeled them, super smart, makes it so soft looking! And I love how you added the leaves at the bottom of the sentiment, perfect touch!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful card, and I love what you did with the coasters to make that beautiful butterfly.
