Hello! You should be waltzing here from Clare Buswell's blog! But if you lost your way, you can go back to Claire Brennan's blog to find your way again!
So now the store is open, and you got to see every glorious stamp in the four sets releasing today...Say It Loud-Winter Holiday, Hocus Pocus, A Cottage Home, and A Cottage Christmas!
Today we will be featuring projects with A Cottage Christmas on the waltz. I made 2 projects to share today...
I colored my little Christmas world PURPLE ( a color that I sadly neglect)! Used Copic markers on the cottage, and lots of Diamond glitter. There are so many little snow caps around the windows and ledges, that I used a super fine glue pen to get them all...
I made the snowy background with an image from Around Christmastime and a little snowflake from Seasons of Love-Tags. I stamped in Versamark and embossed with white powder on PTI's Royal Velvet cardstock. It looked a little bright to me compared to my house, so I sponged over the whole thing with PTI Vintage Cream ink, and then went in with a damp paper towel, and wiped the embossed portions. It turned out to be some swirly fun!
I could not leave my stamping area until I included the adorable lantern-toting snowman on a project!
I am stockpiling tags for Christmas! I stamped a pattern from Gingham & Co. and then the trees over the top. Used PTI's Tag Sale #4 die and a circle nestie for the center. The sentiment is from A Cottage Christmas, too!
Be sure to leave a comment on all of the DT members' blogs, as 1 random comment will be chosen...the winner taking home a Waltzingmouse Stamp set of choice! You have until September 21st to leave a comment by11:59 PM Claire's time (3:59 AM Pacific, 5:59 AM Central, and 6:59 AM EST).
Thanks SO much to everyone who visited me for my first WMS release! I appreciate all of your kind words and encouragment.
And now...your last stop....LYNN'S BLOG!

ReplyDeleteDear Kelly,
ReplyDeleteI Just arrived at you blog. Oh my, do I love your art and creative mind! I'll be watching this blog closely, thank you for giving us so much of your time and mind. You make so wonderful and lovely works! I enjoyed the visit on your site. Many thanks for your beautiful inspirations!!
Many warm Hugs from Marina from Germany
I invited you gently to visit my creative Website: Bettyscardsandpaperdesign.com
You certainly don't need one more person praising your amazing talent and creativity, but I find I must. For weeks now I have been noticing your work on Waltzing Mouse and Papertrey. Somehow the fact that there was just one of you, making all this glorious art, eluded me. I rarely try to mimic another's card closely when I use the same stamp set, but your cozy winter night cottage is utter perfection. (Following your coloring was a really nice 'primer' about how to capture the wonderful winter moon (blue) snow scene.)
ReplyDeleteI will be visiting your blog often. May you and your family have a holiday as magical as your winter cottage. Thanks you so much for sharing.
