Waltzingmouse Stamps...The Colors of Summer!

It's time for the Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Hop!  The theme for July is The Colors of Summer (and Ireland), BLUE and GREEN!


For my blue I chose "Paris Dusk" (Memento Ink) and for the green, PTI's Simply Chartreuse (ink and cardstock).  I have been obsessed with this blueberry color since seeing it on Claire's blog (not sure if it's the exact one, but I love it!).  Watercolored the basket with Martha Stewart watercolor markers...got a little overzealous with my waterbrush there, hee!

Used the following WMS Stamps: apple basket from Peace and Plenty, plaid and branch from Pic-Nic Patterns, frame from Very Vintage Labels No. 1, and sentiment from Sewing Box-Hugs.

    Oh Kelly, I just love this!! What a perfect summery image - the plaid and the picnic basket - love it!! Adore what you've done with the stem/leaves from the Pic-Nic Patterns set at the bottom of your card too - such beautiful choice of blues & greens x
